I recently installed a TP-Link USB Print Server TL-PS110U to connect my Canon MP610 printer to my network. I did this because I found that I could no longer share the printer with another workstation on the network. I think the sharing problem came about as the result of Microsoft trying to push Win 10 down to the workstations.After installing and configuring the TP-Link, I added the printer to each workstation as an IP printer. Now each station can easily print with out delay. The problem with this arrangement is that the TP-Link doesn't seem to pass printer information back to the workstation that submitted the print job.

I have also lost the capability to scan documents on the printer and pass them to a workstation.I think these problems may be a result of the workstation's firewall not allowing information in from the printer but I'm not sure. I created a rule to allow all tcp and udp data to pass but it didn't correct the problem. I feel that there must be a solution of these vexing problems so I'm asking for help.Thanks in advance,Jim Driskell.
